Watch out speed freaks, a brand new, police-modified Toyota Supra has arrived in Dubai Police’s exotic cop car fleet, powered with 382 horsepower and a top speed of 250 km/h.
In 2019, the Supra model made headlines making a return as Toyota’s foremost sports coupe car after 18 years. Equipped with a BMW engine under the bonnet, the A80 can touch 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. Its sleek body and flashy lights are sure to get everyone’s attention on the road, wrapped in Dubai Police’s iconic green livery.

Its predecessor, the MK4 model boasts itself as one of the most iconic Japanese sports cars of all time, courtesy of its dynamic 2JZ engine. Not to mention the infamous ‘The Fast and The Furious’ Supra grabbing eyeballs for its performance and freakish paint job, the vehicle fetched a whopping $185,000 (AED679.5k) at an auction in 2015.
That’s worth even more than a merely used Range Rover Vogue, Bentley Continental GTC, Mercedes-Benz S400 Coupe and a BMW 760Li!
For those not in the know about the Supra’s legacy, we suggest scrolling through a few YouTube clips about the vehicle.
Besides the likes of Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren 570S, Audi R8 and European supercars that form Dubai Police’s vibrant cop car fleet, Dubai Police has a growing line-up of Japanese sport cars, including Lexus RC F, Nissan GTR and Lexus GS 350.
It’s worth mentioning Dubai Police acquired the most advanced police car, Ghiath in 2018, packed with Artificial Intelligence and advanced communication systems to solve crimes in the city. Check it out:
