US President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ arrival at The White House brought a wave of congratulatory messages across the world and the UAE is offering them their best wishes, led by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.
Millions of people tuned in to watch Joe Biden and Kamala Harris swearing-in as President and Vice President of the US respectively, marking a new era for the country and its government. Their inauguration was celebrated with high spirits and admiration and Biden didn’t waste time to get back to work, signing a line-up of 19 Presidential Orders, dealing with Coronavirus, World Health Organization, immigration, gender-identity discrimination, the US-Mexico border construction, the Muslim ban, the Paris climate accord and many more country-wide issues.
In time for the inauguration, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took to Twitter wishing “the Biden-Harris Administration all the best in their efforts to further American progress and prosperity” and “to support peace in the region.”
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan also congratulated Joe Biden saying the nation has worked closely with him since his term as Vice President and his service in the US Senate.
