Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his heartfelt concerns and messages of solidarity as he personally called families of frontline workers who passed away due to Coronavirus.
Thousands of people in the UAE are in the hospital battling Coronavirus, making it tougher than ever for those working in the frontlines of the healthcare industry. The burden keeps growing on doctors and nurses, but it gets worse for their families when they pass away due to the disease.
At the time of this writing, the UAE records a total of 178,837 Coronavirus cases and a total of 596 deaths, including frontline workers. Recently, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) shared excerpts of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan making personal calls to families of doctors and nurses who lost their lives due to COVID-19, condoling to their deaths and showing gratitude for their efforts to protect the country.
The Crown Prince shared emotional messages saying the UAE is “forever indebted” to the deceased, their families “are my responsibility from now on,” “we can never repay their deeds” and “you have a brother in me.” Have a listen:
