There’s little doubt that Dubai’s automotive scene is the stuff of legends, and McLaren is about to take things one notch further after revealing it’s newest Elva and 765LT models in the emirate.
Groups of select automobile enthusiasts descended upon the Bluewaters Island last week to witness the high-octane launch of McLaren’s two new vehicles, Elva and 765LT. Judging by the photos, it’s only fitting to say the cars parked in style against the backdrop of the JBR skyline is ‘peak Dubai.’

There’s a great deal of anticipation surrounding the Elva model, an ode to the McLaren race cars of the ‘60s with a two-seater open cockpit, boasting of a twin-turbocharged V8 engine that can clock 0-100 m/h within three seconds.

Next up is the 765LT, a lighter and performance-savvy exotic featuring a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that can speed from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds.

A limited line-up of 149 Elva vehicles will be produced priced at $1,788,000 (AED 6.5m), followed by 765 models of the 765LT fetching an AED 1,500,000 price tag.
