Orangutan sipping an energy drink with party people in Dubai draws rebukes
Cruelty to animals is a serious issue, especially with high-rollers adopting exotic animals as their pets. UK news outlet The Daily Mail broke the news yesterday of a viral video surfacing the internet showing a group of young men flashing their cameras at the Orangutan capturing the moment he sipped an energy drink and smiled, as they cheered and sung to loud music in their lavish vehicle.

Little is known about the impact of energy drinks on Orangutans, but their diets are quite sugar-savvy since they consume sweet fruits in their natural habitat.
Following the videos storming social media, a lot of users complained they were “disgusted” by the partygoers’ behaviour, hoping the young men “get arrested” and terming it a clear issue of “animal abuse.”
