These uncertain times in the wake of Coronavirus prompted an emotion letter by a UAE-based Indian resident in praise of Dubai’s efforts to contain the pandemic.

Recent events over the last few months made it clear how Coronavirus has disrupted the world, and while hundreds of thousands of residents of numerous backgrounds are going through this crisis together in the UAE, Maria, an expatriate who goes by the Instagram username @worldwithmaria, decided to write an emotional letter in admiration and appreciation of Dubai’s ongoing efforts against the outbreak.

Some of our top picks from her open letter include Dubai taking care “of everyone in the city” with sufficient supplies for residents to sustain, followed by the emirate being “home away from home,” and the most emotional part, taking “utter pride in being connected” with the city.

Maria’s heartfelt letter sent social media into a spiral with residents in praise of her message and Dubai’s efforts. One user comments “this is the most meaningful message I’ve read today.”

It’s worth mentioning Abu Dhabi Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed recently confessed he shed a tear seeing UAE residents chant the National Anthem, “Ishi Biladi” while staying under lockdown. He wished “May God protect you and protect the country you are loyal to,” and “God willingly, we will get through this phase with you safe and sound, and with success from God.”

Meanwhile, UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum recently shared a video in solidarity with citizens and residents saying “We will win,” followed by a video. Check it out:
