Numerous cyclists competed at the Al Salam Championship in Al Qudra, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Emir of Dubai, including Al Watba Team’s Annan Al-Amri, who sustained an injury on her chin after falling onto the ground in the midst of the race.

It isn’t the first time the Emir made a move to help people, be it citizens, residents, or tourists. In 2018, Sheikh Mohammed saw a group of tourists stranded in the dunes of Al Qudra desert and immediately helped them by offering water bottles and towed their car out.
